Let me present you your new favourite ice cream: creamy hazelnut ice cream with generous swirls of chocolate hazelnut spread and crunchy chocolate nuts.
Hazelnut Ice Cream
Ice cream Fridays are still a thing around here and today I am bringing you one of the best ones I have done so far. This hazelnut ice cream is made by mixing double cream with a very healthy amount of hazelnut cream, a good few swirls of chocolate hazelnut spread and finally with yet another healthy amount of chocolate nuts for an extra crunch and texture.

So what do you need?
This easy ice cream requires very little ingredients, all you’ll need is:
- Double cream
- Condensed milk
- Hazelnut spread (not chocolate)
- Vanilla extract
- Chocolate hazelnut spread
- Chocolate covered nuts
Hazelnut Ice Cream
Ingredients:
- 500 ml of double cream
- 100 ml of condensed milk
- 120 grams of hazelnut spread (not chocolate)
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 180 gr of chocolate coated nuts
- 100 gr of chocolate hazelnut spread
Method:
- Beat together the double cream, hazelnut spread, condensed milk and vanilla ice cream until stiff peaks – stiff mountains will form when you lift the mixer.
- Cut the nuts into smaller pieces and fold them into the ice cream mix.
- Scoop half of the ice cream mix into a 9 x 2 inch loaf pan and top with 60 gr of chocolate hazelnut spread, swirl the chocolate spread around. Repeat the process with the other half of the ice cream mix and another 60 gr of the hazelnut spread.
- Freeze for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight. Allow the ice cream to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before eating.
